In stark contrast to last year, runners were treated to very dry trails and a beautiful and slightly warm day. Conditions were fast for most as many PR’s were run, we had a record number of finishers at 96, and a new course record. Liam Cregan took almost 12 minutes off the CR to cross the line in 4:19:50. Following behind him were Daniel Grip in 4:31:47 and Matthew Perkins in 4:59:14. The women’s field was strong as well with Bonnie Lathrop bringing home the win in 5:20:06 followed closely by last years champ Amelia Kaufman in 5:28:20. Kelly MacDonald rounded out the podium in 5:57:06.
We had 7 runners complete The Cat’s Tail for the 5th consecutive year. Congrats to all runners and we hope to see you back again next year.
